A golf tournament is planned for Saturday, Aug. 13 at Emory Golf Course in Harriman to benefit the Harriman High School marching band, Rhapsody in Blue.
Proceeds from the event will help the band to purchase new uniforms.
Tee times are set for 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in a four man, best ball format with 18 holes planned. $5 mulligan.
Anyone 62 and older will be set for the yellow tees. 75 and older as well as women will use the red tees. Everyone will tee off from the white tees.
The teams will be limited to four per team with an entrance fee of $80 with an 18 team maximum.
First place will win $1,000. Second place will get $600, Third will win $400. A blind draw is planned for $200.
Prize holes are also planned for 6 and 8.
