Narramore thanks Kingston family
Kingston has always been a major part of my life — a long time ago as a student-athlete at RCHS and over the last 12 years as a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and most recently as principal of Cherokee Middle School. I’ve been wearing our Power K for almost 40 years, and wearing it consistently with pride because that’s how I was raised by my family, teachers, and coaches. I’ve been so lucky to be a small part of so many great school functions, academic achievements, and unbelievable athletic competitions.
Everyone knows Kingston Athletics hold a very special place in my heart and I couldn’t be prouder of our accomplishments over the years. Highlights for me include several golf state championships, putting Coach Mike Snow’s name on the court at CMS, and a run to the basketball state final four that meant everything to me.
Thank you to my colleagues, school board members, and faculty members, including teachers, assistants, coaches, cafeteria workers, janitors, bus drivers, school resource officers, and everyone else that spends each day of their lives helping provide our youth with a great education.
Thank you to our entire Kingston Family for allowing me to lead our students in various roles over the years. It’s been truly an honor to represent our hometown of Kingston for many years.
The only people I care more about is my own family. Sarah, Trey, and Tyson have sacrificed a lot for me to live my dream of coaching and leading my hometown. I’ve been given an opportunity to put us in a better situation as a family, and I’m so excited to get to spend more time watching my boys grow up and chase their dreams.
