Brett’s Automotive and Small Engine Repair held their annual Customer Appreciation Dinner on Friday. This year marks the sixth year holding the event.
“It started when we had some guys wanted to get together and have something where people could come out,” said Brett Chambers, owner of Brett’s Automotive. “And I thought it would be nice to show the customers when we bought the building here, when we moved our business down here and opened up the outdoor power equipment dealership, I thought it’d be nice to actually show people something to let them know that we appreciate them.”
Chambers said he wanted to do an event like this as something like sending a card was too impersonal.
“You can send anybody a card or anything just in a second,” he said. “But when you actually do something like this to show people that you do actually appreciate when they do business with you, I think it gets that across.”
And attendees to the event seemed to agree.
“We really enjoy it. Good Fellowship, good people.” Said Jim Crawley, member of Three Rivers Antique Tractor Club.
“This is very good eating, and we’re very proud of what Brett does,” said Billy Norman, president of Three Rivers Antique Tractor Club.
