Kenneth “Ken” Charles Porter, 84, of Kodak, Tennessee, and formerly of Syracuse, New York, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Porter, Sr. and Pauline M. Porter (Burnett); brother, Frederick R. Stewart; and sister, Mary L. Madill (Kinsman).
His survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Carol L. Porter; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl L. Williams (Larry L. Williams), Kathleen “Kat” L. Porter, and Colleen M. Brackins (Dustin L. Brackins); grandchildren, Ashton K. Williams, Spencer D. Williams, Morgan S. Williams, Cortland P. Brackins, and Elisabeth “Ella” M. Brackins; and brother, George E. Porter, Jr.

Family and friends will meet 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Hwy) for graveside services and inurnment. Full military honors will be provided by American Legion Post No. 104. A celebration of life with receiving of friends will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at The Ivey House, Seymour. Memorial service and dinner will follow visitation.
