John Bartlett “J.B.” Watson, age 92, of Sevierville passed away Friday Feb. 19, 2021. He was a member of the Oldhams Creek Missionary Baptist Church of Sevier County, Tennessee.
J.B. was one of ten children born to Robert “Big Bob” Watson, Jr. and Viola Trentham on Dec. 26, 1928. J.B. served in the United States Air Force for 27 years from 1950-1978. Upon retiring from the military J.B. was employed by the National Park Service and worked in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Frances Mize Watson; sons, John Keith Watson and wife Ruth Barber, and James Craig Watson; daughter, Pamela Sue Watson Munson and husband Tim Munson; grandchildren, Erik Watson, Nicholas Watson, Dawn Radics, Shelley Keenan, Jacob Munson; great grandchildren, Cole Watson, Greyson Watson, Graham Watson, Griffin Watson, Delta Radics, Scarlett Keenan, Violet Munson, Journi Munson, and Bowie Munson.
