These systems included telephone systems installed in state office buildings; statewide and nationwide voice and data networks; statewide emergency telephone “911” systems and Centralized Attendant Service (CAS) Systems. He was the project engineer on re-engineering the state agency communications from analog to digital; the establishment and implementation of a pilot test for an integrated voice/data network; and working on video teleconferencing technology research and testing. He retired from the State of Florida in 1999 and moved to East Tennessee.
