David Wright was born July 5, 1959, and died May 13, 2023.
He attended Sevier County High School and worked at Dan River/Cherokee and Tennessee State Bank. David loved the Tennessee Vols and golf, and he could fix anything. He loved his family and was happiest when he was doing something to help them. We will all miss him.
David leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Vickie Wright; his children: Stormy (Shawn) Smelcer, Teresa Ramsey, Brian (Brooke) Ramsey; as well as his grandchildren: Olivia (Austin) Miller, Emily and Hannah Smelcer, Ryder Ogle, Reagan, Seamus and Ronan Ramsey and his great grandson, Deacon Miller. In addition, he is survived by his brothers, Johnny Wright and Jim Trosper; numerous cousins and relatives; his work and church family; and special friend Ron Brewer.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for each and every kindness shown during this time of grief.
