GATLINBURG — The Gatlinburg Police Department was dispatched to 924 Watson Drive shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, regarding a domestic incident.
An adult female was shot in the arm and in the leg during the incident. GPD arrived to the scene shortly after the shooting and took a suspect into custody.
Eric Allen, 31, was arrested on charges of attempted murder. The victim was transported to UT Medical Center for her injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Gatlinburg Police Department and more information will be released as it is available.
