SEVIERVILLE — FACE Amusement has partnered with famed chef and Food Network personality Guy Fieri and restaurateur Robert Earl to present Chicken Guy! and Arcade City to Gatlinburg.

The location, which features mouthwatering chicken and games, had a soft opening this Thursday, but will open officially on Monday, Oct. 18.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is Monday at 9:30 a.m.

“We wanted to bring together good food and fun,” said FACE Amusements CEO Bucky Mabe.

The original concept for the idea started in Disney Springs and has worked its way to Nashville and now Gatlinburg.

While this may seem like just another chicken chain, Mabe assures their food is always fresh and never frozen and their chicken is marinated in a brine unlike any other. Their menu is full of great options for everyone from chicken tenders and fries to salads and mac and cheese. And to end each meal try one of their signature shakes, from the original chocolate and vanilla to an apple cinnamon cereal shake that will sure taste like childhood. There’s something for everyone, Mabe said.

Chicken Guy! offers over 20 sauces created by Guy Fieri, and the sauces are internationally inspired creations.

“That’s what makes it unique, each time you come you can try a new sauce. The Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ is my personal favorite.” Mabe said.

Not only are they serving up some delicious food, they are serving up fun for the whole family. With a full arcade with games for adults and children alike, Face Amusement aims to please every member of the family. And players can feel good about winning, too. Face Amusement participates in The Bear Hugs Program — for every bear won in a claw game another bear is given to a child through the National Down Syndrome Society.

Mabe has plans to continue to expand this “Downtown Flavortown” experience following the new year with a new restaurant in Pigeon Forge.

With over 20 sauces, food, and games the Chicken Guy! and Arcade City in Gatlinburg is sure to become a new family favorite.
