SEVIERVILLE — Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum will be closing its doors Sunday, Oct. 31, for the final time.
Twenty-five years ago Floyd Garrett had a dream of opening a first-class muscle car museum. That dream became a reality when he opened Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum right here in Sevierville. Opening in 1996, this museum has been a car lover’s dream destination.
With over 90 cars and 18,000 collectibles in the gift shop, this museum was well loved by locals and visitors.
Those at the museum announced there closing on Facebook at the beginning of the month and since have received an overwhelming amount of kindness and encouragement by those who have visited and love the museum.
Floyd would like to thank everyone for their patronage throughout these years and will always be thankful for the friendships he’s acquired.
