Wanda Joyce Spurling Richards, “Nanny”, 79, on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, in Orlando, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Richards; former husband and father of her children, William A. Capps; and mother, Amy Spurling; father, Robert Spurling.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Capps Ratcliff and Tanya Capps Brien (Tim); four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church in Sunbright with Bro. Perry Spurling officiating. Interment followed in Union Grove Cemetery.
