Morgan County Sheriff’s Office seized approximately 6.7 pounds of meth, over $65,000 cash, 2 vehicles and Harley Davidson.
Members of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office partnered with TDOC to serve outstanding warrants. While serving a warrant on Thurman Lavender road in Deer Lodge, officers discovered large amounts of drugs, guns and what is believed to be “drug money.”
Dallas Lavender, 64, and Stephanie Williams, 50, were taken into custody on multiple charges.
“I am happy that we were able to get a large amount of drugs off the street today and I am pleased with our great relationship with the The Department of Corrections who helped make it happen. When we work together we better serve our citizens,” Sheriff Wayne Potter said.
MCSO expressed a special thank you to Narcotics Officer CJ Porter, Assistant Chief Keith Hawkins, Investigator Brad Aytes, Captain Kenny Morgan, Deputy Sarah Jo Posey and TDOC apprehension team Lance Stephens, Elizabeth Baldwin and Daniel Shields.
