Reba Medley, 95, of Speedwell died at Tristate Health and Rehab in Harrogate on Saturday. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was also a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Speedwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Medley; mother Emma Leach; father Casper Leach; sisters, Wanda Barnes and Charlotte Russell; and son-in-law Ray Chumley.
She is survived by daughters Bonnie Chumley and Peggy (Earl) Lambert; three grandsons; four great-granddaughters; brothers Pete Leach and Johnny Leach; sister Clayette Graves; and a host of family, friends, and neighbors who mourn her passing.
Funeral services were Tuesday in the chapel of Cross-Smith Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Ronald Lambert. Interment was in Leach Cemetery in Speedwell.
