Oak Ridge swept varsity basketball games against Campbell County on Jan. 17.
The Wildcats won 85-61, and the Lady Wildcats won 56-40 at Oak Ridge High School.
The Campbell County boys got out to a 10-5 lead early, but Oak Ridge would tie the game at 12-all.
It was a close contest after a quarter, with Oak Ridge leading 19-17.
But the Wildcats found a lot of separation in the second quarter, leading 43-28 with 1:15 left in the frame.
Oak Ridge led 43-30 at halftime.
The Wildcats led 62-46 after three quarters.
Devon Jones led the Cougars with 20 points, according to team stats, followed on his team by Gavin Cox (13), John Long (10), David Adkins (8), Will Lester (6), Eli Dorton (2) and Adama Sanogo (2).
The Lady Cougars trailed 5-4 early, but Oak Ridge led 12-6 after a quarter.
The Lady Wildcats expanded the lead to 19-8 with 5:15 still to go in the second.
Oak Ridge led 26-15 at halftime and 36-24 after three quarters.
The Lady Wildcats led 36-26 with 7:12 to play and 43-28 with 4:57 left.
Carley Kitts led the Lady Cougars with 15 points, according to team stats, followed on her team by Emma Brandenburg (13), Saylor Hutcheson (10) and Reagan Stanfill (2).
Campbell County next plays at Powell on Thursday night (tonight) in a game that was rescheduled from earlier in the year, due to weather.
