This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the World’s Fair being hosted by Knoxville. The Sunsphere remains as a reminder of this event. Recently, it was technologically enhanced and upgraded in honor of this anniversary. Also, it moved from free to visit to a $5 fee to keep the upgrades updated.
