Todd Proffitt, president, and CEO of Tennessee State Bank is proud to announce that as of Jan. 1, Rebekah “Becka” Hurst is its new chief credit officer (“CCO”), executive vice president.
“This promotion is the result of Becka’s dedication and an example of hard work leading to success with our company,” says Proffitt.
Becka has been with TSB since 2004 and quickly moved into roles with increasing levels of responsibility over the years. These roles included teller, credit specialist, credit analyst, loan review specialist, credit administration, and serving in her last role of senior vice president/loan operations manager since 2018.
She is a Sevier County native, graduating from Pigeon Forge High School. She has received her bachelor of science in business and masters in business administration with completion of numerous banking courses and Commercial Lending School. She and her husband, Rodney, have two children, Trenton and Ashlynn. Becka over the years has been a mentor in Junior Achievement and tnAchieves; she is part of the Leadership Tomorrow Class of 2020, as well.
“I am thrilled to formally join the TSB leadership team and continuing my efforts with the Bank in order to meet its long-term goals,” she said.
