Todd Proffitt, President, and CEO of Tennessee State Bank is proud to welcome Montay Calloway and Joel Brannon to TSB’s team of Community Banking Officers.

Montay comes to Tennessee State Bank with over 14 years of banking experience. Calloway is a graduate of Pulaski Southwestern High School in Somerset Kentucky and attended Maryville College. Calloway graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Montay along with his family, wife Katie, and children Tyson, Bella and Layla attend Pathways in Sevierville.

Montay has a strong community involvement with more than 10 affiliations and positions held within the communities he serves.

“There is no better feeling than a ‘true community bank.’ Tennessee State Bank is all about the community,” Calloway said.

Joel comes to Tennessee State Bank with over 18 years banking experience. Brannon is a Sevier County High School graduate in 1998 and then attended Clemson University until 2002 where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Brannon then continued his education and received a MBA from Carson-Newman University graduating in 2012.

Joel along with his two sons, Beau and Lawson, are members of First United Methodist Church in Sevierville. Brannon is also a board member for the Sevier County Education Foundation and the Pigeon Forge Rotary.

“I am excited to be part of the TSB team. Tennessee State Bank is a strong community bank and I am looking forward to helping our community and bank grow,” Brannon said.
