On behalf of the firefighters and board members of the Wears Valley Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to express our sincere thanks to all who attended our supper and auction this past April 30.

Thanks to all the candidates who gave their generous support, and to those who prepared and served the supper, those who made and brought desserts, those merchants and neighbors who donated auction items, to Thompson and Carr for their time and talents as auctioneers, and all who came and gave a terrific morale boost to the firefighters.
