Letter: Make your voices heard in May 6 election
I recall in 2005 County Commissioner Warren Hurst told then-President of the Sevier County Fair, Jack Thurman, that the county could do a better job of running the fairgrounds.
Well, I still live across the road from the fairgrounds. Seems putting people in jail is more important than teaching folks about farming and such.
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Stokes family intend the property to be used by the people of Sevier County for the good of all?
Its election time, make your voice heard in the courthouse and everywhere in this county — where it seems a few control the many.
