William Edgar Lane Jr., age 64, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, William Edgar Lane Sr., step-brother, Marion Nicholson, and step-sister, Norma Johnson.
Survivors: wife,Judy Lane; daughter, Michelle Leigh Lane of NC; step-son, Matthew Brown of MS; step-daughter, Kimberly Brown-McAbee of TN; five grandchildren, Savannah McAbee, Ellie McAbee, Jack McAbee, all of TN, and Katheryn (Lizzie Kate) Brown and Reese Brown, both of MS; mother, Helen L. Nicholson of TN; brother, Allan Lane (wife, Laurie Lane) of MS;
step-brothers/sisters, Aaron Nicholson, (wife Paula Nicholson) of MS
Marion Nicholson, Sue Abdul-Hadi, of FL; nephew, Phillip L. Lane, of MS.
Funeral Service 7 p.m. Thursday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Josua Gayares (Gideon) and Jack Huesman officiating. Graveside service and interment 1:30 p.m. Friday in East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) with military honors by American Legion Post 104.
