Letter: Government wants GPS monitoring

Nov. 08, 2013 @ 11:33 PM

Editor,

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that there is a major and controversial attempt in Washington, D.C. and states around the county to put black boxes in every car of every citizen. The boxes have GPS monitoring.

The government would track every single mile you drive. They could also track your location so they would know exactly where you are at all times.

They would start taxing every single American on how many miles they drive. As cars get more and more fuel efficient, the gas tax just isn’t sustainable. Please just don’t take my word for it. Check the Internet.

This idiot in Washington is just not satisfied with screwing the American public with the health insurance. God knows what he will come up with next. Maybe he will monitor our toilets so he can collect a poop tax.
