Letter: Clean atmosphere missing with Clint’s closed

Editor,

I miss Clint’s Restaurant, before and after the fire.

(It was) the only place in town for good food, alcoholic drinks forbidden. A place you could bring your family, friends and pastor for a children’s party, birthday, or anniversary party, etc.

I have enjoyed the food, musicians and atmosphere.

It was the last place to expect and get a good clean evening.

If the city fathers have their way in a five years you can open a brewery next door to a church or school and in 10 years the church ministers will want a brewery in the basement or fellowship hall. I hope and pray that I am wrong.

I found nothing wrong with Sevier County being a dry county.
