Letter: Crying foul after the fact is sour grapes
The letter (Feb. 26) from Paul Medley says “I’m not saying I am for or against unions,” but if I read the letter correctly he wasted his statement!
It appears clear that he does not think anyone has a right to express their opinion, especially if they think differently! If the UAW could not convince the plant employees, with VW’s endorsement, and unrestricted access, to vote for the union, what does that say?
Crying “foul” now because they lost says a great deal about them, and sounds like sour grapes to me! Makes you wonder what the writer will say if the “new” plant is built here, or do you think he will comment then?
