Letter: Kentucky visitor upset with politicians about park’s closure

Editor,

My family has long-standing plans to travel from several states to join together and take in the beautiful fall foliage that only the Smokies can offer.

Unfortunately, our plans are threatened by Congress inability to function.  If he and his caucus colleagues can’t learn that the legislative process requires compromise, Rep. Phil Roe will cost his constituents, states, and local governments the revenue that our tourism dollars can create.

If that’s fiscal responsibility, I wouldn’t want any part of it, and neither should you.
