Letter: More answers needed on GMO foods

Jul. 25, 2014 @ 06:17 PM

The Chicago Tribune editorial appearing in Sunday’s paper (Food labeling should be about information, not fear) opposing the labeling of genetically modified foods was completely wrong.

With Kroger and Safeway joining the trend away from GMO foods, General Mills and Post cereal makers moving away from GMO ingredients too, and 26 nations outright banning them, more questions are being raised about these foods than there are answers, a fact this Chicago Tribune editorial failed to note and the American people have a right to know.
