The Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service (SCHAS) and Board would like to thank David Verble and Citizens National Bank and the staff for all their help and support.

The Sevier County Citizenship Award Dinner fundraiser honoring David Verble raised $18,448.97 and will provide personal care and homemaker services to our current and new clients who are unable to pay the full cost of service.

Thanks to our presenting sponsors: Citizens National Bank and Thomas Group. Dinner sponsor: The Island in Pigeon Forge. Client sponsors are Blalock Companies, LeConte Medical Center, Our Savior Lutheran Church of Gatlinburg and The Mountain Press.

Thanks to all our table sponsors and others who purchased tickets. Thanks to all who donated auction items and others who helped with this year’s event.

The Sevier County SCHAS Board members who worked many months, days and hours are Brenda Byrd, Betty Madison Ogle, Jeannie Allen, Sue Barker and Phyllis Williams.

Again, SCHAS and Board thank you all.
