At what age do people die in Sevier County?

Based on a study of the age that people die in Sevier County this year, the largest five-year percentage is ages 65-69 being 19 percent of deaths. The 60-64 years are 13 percent. This 10-year span is nearly 1/3rd of the deaths in Sevier County.

Then ages 55-59 is 6 percent and under 54 is 9 percent. Through age 69, this accounts for 47 percent, or almost half the deaths. Add in ages 70-74 at 14 percent, which makes it 61 percent of deaths under age 75.

That leaves 39 percent of deaths from age 75 to 100. Ages 75-79 is 9 percent; as is 80-84 and 85-89 and 90-94. 95-100 is 3 percent.

I did this same study about five years ago and the results are basically the same percentages. Now we know what to expect in the future.
