Glen Alan Baxmann

Glen Alan Baxmann, MSgt, USAF (Ret), age 72, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at UT Medical Center, surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 30, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Myrtle Baxmann. 

Glen is survived by his wife, Patricia Baxmann; daughter, Lisa Davis (Mark), daughters, Lori Baxmann and LeAnn Baxmann; brother Wayne (Renee), and 6 grandchildren. 

Glen honorably served 26 years in the United States Air Force, from December 23, 1962, to November 30, 1986. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Knoxville, where he served as an Elder, and volunteered as a designer at Random Acts of Flowers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Lutheran Church, 1207 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917.

Memorial service 9 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Paul Busher and eulogy offered by his son-in-law Mark Davis.  Inurnment  11:30 a.m. Friday at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway with full military honors.  Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865.
