Freeman Manis, age 77 of Sevierville passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Ima Jean Reagan Manis; parents, Clay and Ollie (Whaley) Manis; brothers, Clyde and Raymond Manis.
He loved his family and the outdoors. He was a good father and grandfather. He found joy in being Dad and Papaw to his grandson Anson Orem.
Mr. Manis was proud of his children – Barb Ogle, Jerry Blevins, Tony Williams and wife Theresa, Wredgie Williams and wife Tammy, Dan Williams and wife Crystal; loved his grandchildren- Anson Orem and wife Kate, Aaron and Lance Williams, Tyler Williams, Duncan Williams; great-grandchildren, Kristiana and Declan Orem, Mason and Gia Williams; special sister, Geniva Myers; brother, Hubert Manis; cousin, Juanita Whaley Reagan. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his best fishing buddy and lifelong friend, Roy Williams; his good friends and neighbors. He enjoyed bear hunting with Pat, Stanley, Gerald Van and Clinton (“The Rhea Boys” as he called them).
