Beverly Jane Alverman
Beverly Jane Alverman, age 70 of Sevierville, TN, passed from this life into Eternal Glory Friday, July 26, 2013. Beverly was an active member of Smoky Mountain Christian Church, a retired restaurant owner/operator, a lover of local history, and a passionate member of the Red Hat Society. Beverly served as the Queen Mother for her beloved Red Hat group, Lydia’s Ladies.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Lois Ammon; and her in-laws, Henry and Theresa Alverman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 ½ years, Richard H. Alverman, Sr.; and her three children, Dayle Medley (husband Chris), Dana Parish (husband Jamie), and Rick Alverman. Beverly was a wonderful grandmother to Chasitie Myers, Kevin McCarter (wife Missie), Amanda Alverman, Taylor Parish, Dacey Weckesser, Tanner Parish, and Bryce Anthony Weber. She was blessed with 4 great-grandchildren: Reece, Hunter, Karadee, and Bella. Beverly is also survived by her brother, Lowell Ammon (wife Eva); cousins, Joan Ryder (husband Dave) and Deanna Reiter (husband Norm); aunt, Irene Hall; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Alice Bradford; nephew, Randy Bradford; and niece, Lisa Edwards.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30<z>, at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31<z>, at Smoky Mountain Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or Women’s Care Center of Sevier County. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
