Mildred Shepherd Chambers, 77, of Pigeon Forge passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 25th, 2012. She attended Kodak United Methodist Church where she dearly loved the fellowship of her seniors group, the Achievers. Mildred’s faith was reflected through her unconditional love and a home that was welcome to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Ezra and Lela Adams; husband, Charlie Shepherd; husband, Lloyd Chambers Sr.,; son, Ed Shepherd; brothers, Jimmy, Allen, and Joe Adams, and sister Sally Bryan.

She is survived by: children and their spouses, Pam Huskey and Bill Clowers, Jim and Angie Shepherd, Liz and Michael Fowler, and Lloyd Jr. and Rheta Chambers; grandchildren and their spouses, Sheena and Bobby Cole, Brandon and Crystal Huskey, Sarah and Jeremiah Dixon, Adam Shepherd and Keisha Mayfield, Weston Shepherd, TC and Danielle Chambers, Kendyl Chambers, and Miranda and Lee Norsworthy; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Abby, Dalton, Lillian, and Brady; brother and sister-in-law, Ellis and Veanna Adams; sister, Edith Whaley; special sister-in-law, Nellie Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Achievers ministry at Kodak United Methodist Church, 2923 Bryan Road Kodak, TN 37764.

Funeral service 7 p.m. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bradley K. Hyde officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Wednesday in Middle Creek Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends ­5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
