Bobbi Jay Gaskill-Brown, age 77 of Sevierville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2013.

Bobbi was born September 5, 1935 in Alexandria, Va. She grew up in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. She moved to New York, then Florida and finally settled in Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Marie Hickman and Juanita Hickman; mother, Martha (Sue) Gaskill; and father Jay Hunter Gaskill.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbi Jay Brown and Teddi Ann Brown; brothers, William Gaskill of Cape May Court House, N.J. and Jay (Chip) Gaskill, of Goshen, N.J.; and sister, Marty Gaskill-Warnig of Woodbine, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bobbi’s memory may be sent to the Great Smoky Mountain Association, P.O. Box 130, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Bobbi’s life at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, at the Smoky Mountain Opry in Pigeon Forge. We invite you to view some photographs, hear a few words from her loved ones, and worship with songs sung by friends.
