James "Jim" Clifford Shults

James "Jim" Clifford Shults, age 66 of Lenoir City, TN, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Sevierville. After graduating from Sevier County High School in 1965, he made a career operating construction cranes and heavy equipment, retiring after 40 years of service from the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 917. He was an avid HAM radio operator, using the call sign KC4UA. In later years, he owned his own jewelry business.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford J. Shults, and step-father, J.E. Roberts.

He is survived by his daughter and granddaughter, Stacey S. Mitchell and Makana Lynn Mitchell of Sevierville; mother, Delsie Roberts of Knoxville; brother and best friend, Tony L. Shults and wife Dixie of Powell; sister, Debbie Blazier and husband Jim of Knoxville; and many loving family members and friends.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2 PM in Shiloh Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life picnic at Sevierville City Park at 4 PM. Cremation arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home.
