Cecil Ogle Clabo
Cecil Ogle Clabo, age 92 of Gatlinburg, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was co-owner of Trotter’s Restaurant for 27 years and a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Gatlinburg. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank B Clabo; her daughter, Shirley Clabo McKay; grandsons, Robert Bryan McKay and Edward Browning Trotter; parents, James Walter and Mary Elizabeth King Ogle; two sisters Polly Ogle Trentham and Lona Ogle Trentham, four brothers Charles E. Ogle, Wiley Kates Ogle, James W. Ogle and Warren G. Ogle.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Johnny Farley; son-in-law, Bob McKay; grandchildren, William Douglas McKay and wife Hope, and Thomas Bates Trotter, Jr. and wife Janice; great-grandchildren, Brooke McKay McCoy and husband Adam, Austen Renee Trotter, Jessica Megan McKay, John Douglas McKay, Karson Bates Trotter, Hannah Leigh McKay, Casey Lynn Trotter; great-great grandchildren, Ethan Taylor Massey, Cayden Bryan McCoy; sister, Verna Ogle McCarter; special nephew, Glenn Trentham and wife Mary; and many special friends.Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Gatlinburg, 742 Parkway, Gatlinburg, Tennessee 37738.
Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jane Elizabeth Taylor and Rev. David Faulkner officiating. Interment is 10 a.m. Tuesday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
