Eleanor Sharp Kilby

Eleanor Sharp Kilby, age 74 of Sevierville passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side at home on Thursday, December 13, 2012. She was a loving person, great wife and a wonderful mother. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her families (Kilby, Sharp, McCroskey and Fox) and special friends Linda Fox, Beverly Atchley, Cole Fox, Harold and Hollis McCroskey, Christina Landau and Teresa Sharp.

She was a stay at home wife and Mom, worshiped, taught Sunday school and sang at her beloved LuRetta Church. She was known for her giving personality and the love she gave freely to her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy L. Kilby; brothers, James Oliver Sharp and Gary Lynn Sharp; sisters-in-law, Casina Huff, Peggy Sharp and Shirley Kilby; niece, Brandy Sharp; nephews, Gary Sharp, Edward Sharp, Claude Huff, Jack Martin, Mike Kilby; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. (Sonny) Kilby; parents, Lillie and Oliver Sharp; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kilby Condry; and brother-in-laws, Chandler Kilby and Claude Huff; and niece, Tammy Sharp; and special friend, Agnes Newman.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15 from 1-2 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Reverends John Clark and Bobby Ely will officiate. Connie Hill and Beverly Atchley will provide song and music. The interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge.
