Marshall Kooch
Marshall Kooch, age 85 of Sevierville, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012. He was born August 23, 1927, and was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. Mr. Kooch retired from Rohm-Hass after 40 years of service. He was a Navy veteran and served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Chris Kooch and Tony Kooch; parents, Frank and Lucy Kooch; sisters-in-law, Lila Huskey and Kate Wilson.
Survivors: wife, Susie Maples Kooch; son, Ronald Kooch and wife Tami; daughter, Jeanne Barker and husband Patrick; daughter-in-law, Kathy Kooch; grandchildren, Nicholas, Britney, Samantha, Christy, and Andrea Kooch, Landon Noe; step-daughter, Sharon Tarwater and husband Kevin; step-grandchildren, Sabrina and Kyle Tarwater; sister, Mary Ruth Kooch; brother, Jerry Kooch and wife Carolyn; nephew, Kerry Kooch and wife Lorie, Shawn Kooch and wife Heather; sisters-in-law, Jane Reagan, Hattie Smith; brother-in-law, Clarence Wilson.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Preston Joslin will officiate. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Friday in Shiloh Cemetery for interment. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
