Anita A. "Graham" Cleaveland went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013.

Anita was born on Jan. 12, 1923 in Jacksonville, FL After graduating high school in 1940, she attended Bryan College in Dayton, Tn. where she graduated in 1944. She was proud to have worked on the Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge, Tn. that helped to end WW II. She went on to teach music in the public school systems and give private instruction for over 40 years. She also served as a choir and church organist for several churches. She was married to the late Floyd L. Cleaveland on Oct. 6, 1953. After they were married, they settled in Jacksonville, FL and reared 5 children. She and Floyd moved to Sevier County in December 1998. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents: Mason and Teresa Graham, brothers: John T. and Paul M. Graham and sister: Cleo Frey.

Survived by the children: William Kenneth Cleaveland, Lynwood P. and wife Kathy Cleaveland, Ryan S. and wife Edie Cleaveland, F. Lowell and wife Robin Cleaveland and Leaette and husband Pete Vollmar. 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Boyds Creek Cemetery for a graveside service. Rev. Ken Cook will officiate.
