Thomas Lee Carlson, age 73 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Mr. Carlson is formerly of Yorba Linda, California and was retired from Taylor Lumber of Anahiem, CA and was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp, serving 6 years. He attended St. Joseph the Carpenter Episcopal Church in Sevierville. Mr. Carlson was an avid golfer, carpenter, and former lifeguard.

Mr. Carlson is preceded by his son, Bruce Carlson of Santa Ana, CA; parents, Ole and Dorotha Carlson; and uncle, Gunner Carlson.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores (Adams) Carlson; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Ross Cutshaw, Karen and Randy Smith, Tina Forgione, Valerie and Con Elfes; special sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Dick Goodman, Richard and Mary Adams; special granddaughter, Lacey Mangum; grandchildren, Alanna, Tara, Katrina, Corbin, Brian, Andy, Houston, Spencer; Andrew Thomas, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Sheridan; many nieces and nephews; brother, Walter; sister, Johanne; extended family, John Forgione and Paulina Meres.

Family and friends will meet 1:30 p.m. Friday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Hwy) for graveside service and interment. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post # 104. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
