James 'Jim' H. Line

James “Jim” H. Line, age 71 of Sevierville, died peacefully at home Sunday, January 13, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Line was born in Flint, MI to the late Paul G. and Martha Line. He moved to Tennessee from Rockford, IL in 1994, when he retired from Dasco Pro. He had a deep passion and love for motorcycles and the mountains.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald Freeman; granddaughter Sarah; grandsons Chris and Joshua; daughter-in-law, Ruthie Line and his loving pets Yoko and Spanky.

Survivors: wife, Betty Line; sons and daughters-in-law, James “Chris” Line, Paul (Kathy) Lamkin, and the perfect pet child Toby; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie (Tom) Ellsworth, Pam (Bill) Dyer, Tina (Bill) Joseph, Vicki (Joe) Guthrie; grandsons, Tim, Tom, Matt, Jimmy, Brandon, Cody, Michael, Tony and Ashton; granddaughters, Nicole, Morgan, Devin, Sarah, Ashley, Trula, Emmalie and Monica; 9 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue (Ralph) Lamkin; brother-in-law, James (Betty) Sing; mother-in-law, Mildred Sing; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service 6 p.m. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. David Wilson and Rev. Tony Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
