Walter Philip Webb
Walter Philip Webb of Sevierville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter P. and Hettie Emert Webb of Sevierville; his brother John C. Webb of Chatsworth, Georgia; and his sister Dorothy Webb Burchfield Butler of Sevierville.
Philip Webb was born on April 9, 1938 in Sevierville.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Watson Webb, his daughter Deborah Webb Parkhurst and his granddaughter Ryah Parkurst, all of Sevierville. Other surviving family members include his sister-in-law Lavone Watson Walker of Sevierville and his brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Wilma Watson of Knoxville, and he was blessed with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mr. Webb, a U.S. Army veteran, worked as a prominent farmer in the agricultural community of Sevier County throughout his life and served as a board member of the Sevier County Farmers Co-Op in the 1980’s. Philip Webb was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, and camping throughout the United States but most especially in the mountains and rivers of Tennessee. He was a member of First Methodist of Sevierville.
A memorial service for friends and family will be announced at a later date.
