Betty Joanne (Whaley) Beavers
Betty Joanne (Whaley) Beavers, 82, of Sevierville, TN, formally of Toledo, OH. Betty went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 17th, 2012, after a five year battle with cancer.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn; brother, Dale (Shirley) Whaley of Pensacola, FL.,; sister, Nancy (Charles) Shadix of Roanoke, VA.; daughters, Sharon Wimberly, Pam Barry, Jacqueline (Raymond) Boyce; and son/grandson, Glenn (Dawn) Duncan of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Mike (Tara) Duncan, Pam (Erik) Christensen, Dennis Duncan of Toledo, OH., Elbert GJ Branscum ll, Stacey Branscum, Kristie (Darrell) Branch of Columbus, OH., Shannon Howard of Greenville, TN., Mandy Ellis of Jefferson City, TN. Betty was blessed to have 22 loving great-grandchildren and was preceeded in death by three great-grandchildren, who are waiting for Grandma at the playground in Heaven. Betty was also a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Betty retired from Food Town in Toledo, OH. in 1987 and gained countless meaningful relationships while working for the last 3 years at Dollar General and Dollywood.
Saturday Dec. 22 at Victory Babptist Church in Sevierville there will be a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. with a memorial service being conducted by Pastor Aaron Swain at noon.
