Hulet Len Adams
Hulet Len Adams, age 71 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, beekeeping, country music, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Leonard C. Adams; mother, Birdie Phillips Adams; brother, Roy Adams; sister, Ella Mae Myers; grandson, Brandon Lenz; and brothers-in-law, Kermit Phillips and Paul Tatum.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Adams and wife Johnnie Faye, Randy Adams and wife Deborah; daughters, Michelle Ownby and Melissa Adams; grandchildren, Andrea, Dyas, Kyler, and Dyas Kinkeade; Kristy, Joey, and Jaiden Styles; Jonie, Damian, Jocelynn, and Bryson Headrick; Summer Lenz; Aaron Adams; Becki Giles; Jacob, Jordan, James, and Jesse Ownby; and Ernie, Joey, and Brianna Rose; sisters, Evelyn Tatum, Clara Phillips, Emma Coile and husband James, and Cloetta Bryan and husband Revis; many nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Wanda Faye Adams; special friends, Damian Headrick, Jeff Trentham, and Revis Bryan; and loving caregivers, son, Scott Adams and granddaughter, Jonie Adams.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to UT Hospice and Nurse Carolyn Wear.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
