In an effort to raise spending money for international travel, members of Girl Scout Troop 20265 hosted their Clean for Green yard sale on Saturday at First United Methodist Church.

This summer the girls will travel to the Girl Scout World Center, located approximately 20 minutes outside of London, England. They will also visit Paris, France.

The girls are already trying to learn some French, and joke that they have mastered the word for bread, pain, so they won't go hungry.

"My mom says it probably won't help a lot," said Julia Duckworth. "She went last summer, and she said they speak faster than we do, so it sounds different." Julia is the daughter of Sharen Duckworth, who has been the troop's leader for nine years.

The girls have a myriad of sights to see as they tour the areas. Jordan Jeffers said she can't wait to see the Eiffel Tower, which has always been a dream of hers.

"I'm looking forward to seeing Big Ben, the clock in London," said Julia.

"I just want to survive the plane flight," added McKayla Floyd.
