Editor’s Note: The following information was taken from the intake reports at the Sevier County Jail. All people listed within this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Debra Kay Bailey, 55, of 357 Big Bend Road in Strawberry Plains, was charged Jan. 28 with violation of probation. She was being held in lieu of $7,000 bond.

Joshua R. Belcher, 20, of 1508 Seagle Hollow Road in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 28 with violation of probation. He was being held.

Valerie Ann Carol Brenton, 26, of 562 Hardin Road in Kodak, was charged Jan. 28 with a third count of DUI and driving while revoked. She was being held.

Ryan William Devers, 22, of 2019 East Parkway in Gatlinburg, was charged Jan. 28 with failure to appear. He was released.

Jeremy Daniel Finchum, 25, of 1360 Newsome Road in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 28 with violation of probation. He was being held.

Jonathan Charles Fleming, 33, of 1718 Mitchell Road in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 28 with violation of sex offender registration. He was being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Waylon David Fletcher, 36, of 926 Palmer Court in Kodak, was charged Jan. 28 with violation of a valid court order. He was released on $5,000 bond.

Cody Joe Griffin, 34, of 2554 Goose Gap Road in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 29 with leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, DUI and habitual motor vehicle offender. He was being held.

Jennifer Denise McMahan, 39, of 3257 Jones Cove Road in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 28 with a warrant from Knox County. She was being held.

Melody Brady Newbert, 37, of 501 Smoky Crossing Way in Seymour, was charged Jan. 28 with two counts of writing bad checks. She was released on $1,000 bond.

Seth Edward Newman, 22, of 1636 Mountain View Court in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 28 with violation of probation. He was being held.

Absolon Ridgeway, 26, of 1301 Poplar Court in Sevierville, was charged Jan. 28 with domestic assault. He was being held in lieu of $2,800 bond.
